Honor 9X Specifications Surface on TENAA Ahead of Launch in China Next Week

Update: TENAA has now added the complete specifications of the Honor 9X on its website. According to the listing, the upcoming Honor smartphone will have a 6.59-inch IPS display with 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, likely the latest Kirin 810. In the memory department, the smartphone will be available in three configurations: 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Moving on to optics, the TENAA listing reveals the phone will have a 48MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

Huawei’s Honor sub-brand is gearing up to launch the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphones at an event in China on July 23. Ahead of the official unveiling next week, three variants of the Honor 9X have been spotted on the TENAA website: HLK-TL00, HLK-AL00, and HLK-AL10. Even though the images and complete specifications of the smartphone have not been listed by TENAA yet, the listing does confirm a few key details.

Honor 9X to Feature a 6.59-inch Display

The HLK-TL00, HLK-AL00, and HLK-AL10 listings on TENAA confirm the upcoming Honor 9X will have a 6.59-inch display. Apart from the display size, the TENAA listing tells us the smartphone will pack a 3900mAh capacity battery as well. In terms of physical dimensions, the Honor 9X will measure 163.1 x 77.2 x 8.8mm. Its predecessor, the Honor 8X features a 6.5-inch display and measures 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8mm. Going by the dimensions listed by TENAA, the Honor 9X will be taller, wider, as well as thicker compared to the Honor 8X.

The more impressive 9X Pro is also said to come with the same display size and resolution as the Honor 9X.
