Earlier this year, a rumor out of China had suggested that Vivo would be launching the world’s first smartphone with 10GB of RAM by the end of 2018. The same rumor had revealed that Vivo’s sister brand OPPO also plans to launch a smartphone with 10GB of RAM before the end of the year. While no evidence of a Vivo smartphone with 10GB of RAM has surfaced on the web yet, an OPPO Find X variant with 10GB of RAM has been spotted on the TENAA website.

OPPO Find X: 10GB RAM Variant Launching Soon?

As you can see in the screenshot below, TENAA certified the 10GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the OPPO Find X yesterday, i.e. September 26. This suggests OPPO may soon introduce a 10GB RAM variant of its flagship Find X smartphone in the Chinese market. Since no other smartphone maker has announced a smartphone with 10GB of RAM yet, there is a good chance that the new Find X variant might well be the world’s first smartphone to be equipped with 10GB of RAM. However, it remains to be seen if adding 10GB of RAM to a smartphone will actually help improve user experience.
