The OPPO PCNM00 listing on Geekbench suggests the smartphone could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor. In the memory department, the listing seems to confirm the OPPO K5 will come with 8GB of RAM. Thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 730 chipset and 8GB of RAM, the device achieved an impressive single-core score of 2,508 and a multi-core score of 6,762 on Geekbench. On the software front, OPPO K5 will debut with the Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box.

OPPO K5 had recently been spotted on the TENAA website as well, revealing pretty much all its key hardware specifications. The smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, featuring a waterdrop-style notch at the top of the display. At the rear, it will have an impressive quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, the smartphone will come equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie snapper on the front.

Keeping the lights on will be a 3920mAh capacity battery with support for OPPO’s VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. As for the physical dimensions, the smartphone measures 158.7 x 75.2 x 8.6mm and weighs in at 182 grams. The K5 will be available in three colors in China: Green, Blue, and White. Since its predecessor, the K3 was launched in the Indian market, there is a good chance that the K5 may also make its way to India. However, both in terms of design and hardware specifications, the OPPO K5 is nearly identical to the Realme X2 that was announced earlier this week in China.
