Ever since Xiaomi has announced that Poco will work as a separate entity, the rumours surrounding the upcoming Poco smartphone have been continuously popping up on the internet. A little while ago, the company confirmed that the first Poco device would be launched in February 2020. Now, the company has officially confirmed that it will launch on February 4. As a matter of fact, the company has even confirmed the moniker – the first Poco device after the brand separation will be dubbed the Poco X2. Let’s have a look at what the Poco X2 has in store for us.

Poco X2 to Launch in India on February 4, Could Feature a Snapdragon 730G Chipset

First up, the name of the device is confirmed. The first Poco device after the brand separation will indeed be called the Poco X2. Furthermore, the tweet contains the URL to the company’s new product page that clearly hints that the Poco X2 will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display. Plus, the device will have support for liquid cooling. For optics, the Poco X2 will feature a Sony IMX868 sensor.

Lastly, the device will be powered with a Qualcomm chipset, which, in all likelihood, could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC. Judging by the teaser, the Poco X2 looks like a rebranded Redmi K30 smartphone (the 4G variant) that was launched in China back in December 2019. Even the bottom of the device looks almost identical. We can spot a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom right corner, a USB Type-C charging port, the secondary microphone, and the speaker grille at the bottom of the device.

For now, this is all we know about the upcoming Poco X2, but given the fact that the company has lately been pretty active on the social media, we can expect to hear more about the device in the coming days. Plus, the launch date is not too far from now, anyway.
