Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A51. A little while ago, we were able to spot the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G on the Geekbench database website, which gave us details about some of its key specifications and features. Post that, the support page of the website went live on the company’s official website. We have even spotted the unofficial render images of the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G in the past. That being said, it was so far nowhere confirmed that the device would indeed feature 5G connectivity. Thanks to the Korean NRRA certification website, we now have the confirmation of the same. As seen in the certification image, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G (with the model number Samsung SM-A516N) is confirmed to feature 5G support. This further strengthens our previous findings about the device. Other than the fact that the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will indeed be a 5G device, the NRRA certification fails to tell us anything else about the device.

That being said, we have plenty of information surrounding the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G anyway. As per the Geekbench listing the device was spotted on a little while ago, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will be powered by the company’s very own Exynos 980 5G mobile platform, which will be paired with 6GB of RAM. We, however, expect more RAM variants of the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G coming up when it launches. On the software side of things, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s proprietary One UI 2.0 skin baked on top of it.

As far as the rest of the specifications are concerned, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G to come with similar dimensions when compared with its 4G counterpart. There might be some variation in the overall weight, however, owing to the added 5G hardware. Also, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G appears to be featuring a different design pattern on the rear. Moving around on the rear of the device, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will likely feature an L-shaped quadruple rear camera setup, which will include a 48MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth-sensing lens. At the front, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will likely sport a 32MP selfie snapper, which will find its way underneath a single punch-hole cutout. The display of the device is said to be a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel.
