Xiaomi Mi 10i With Snapdragon 750G SoC and 8GB RAM Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of India Launch

Last week, Xiaomi Mi 10i with model number M2007J17I made an appearance on Google Play supported devices. Now, we have spotted Mi 10i on the Geekbench database with the same model number. This suggests that the company might have started internal testing for the smartphone, and the launch shouldn’t be far from now. To those unaware, Mi 10i codename is gauguinpro as revealed in the Google Play supported devices list. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, which was launched recently in China also carries the same codename. Going by the model name, and the codename of the upcoming Mi 10i, it is expected to be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

Xiaomi Mi 10i has scored 652 in the single-core test, and 2004 in the multicore test. These scores reconfirm the fact that the device will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor with a 1.80GHz base clock frequency. Additionally, Geekbench listing again confirms the codename gauguinpro. The listing also confirms that the Snapdragon 750G 5G will get coupled with 8GB RAM. Though, the smartphone might have other memory variants as well. Geekbench listing also suggests that the Mi 10i will run Android 10.

Mi 10i: Features and Specifications

The Mi 10i is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC coupled with Adreno 619 GPU, and UFS 2.2 storage. The device should offer a 108MP quad-rear camera setup with Samsung HM2 sensor. The 108MP sensor will get accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120° field-of-views, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro sensor. For the selfies, it is expected to offer a 16MP front shooter.

The smartphone might be to be equipped with a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The smartphone should offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor.
