Update (05/06/2020):

We have now spotted certifications of two batteries from Samsung on the 3C certification platform. Going by the model numbers of the batteries, we strongly believe that these batteries belong to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G that we had spotted on 3C earlier this morning.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G battery capacity revealed on 3C

The certification of the first battery reveals that the its model number is EB-BF707ABY, which is similar to the model number of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and this is the reason behind why we think the battery belongs to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The capacity of the battery is rated at 2500mAh.

The certification of the second battery reveals that its model number is EB-BF708ABY, which, again, is similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. According to the certification its battery capacity is 704mAh.

Going by these certifications, it looks like the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will have two batteries (one at the top and one at the bottom) with a total capacity of 3204mAh, just like that in the Galaxy Z Flip.

The original story follows…

Samsung might have closed its last smartphone factory in China, but the company still seems to be harboring some expectations from the highly competitive market. What else could explain the appearance of not one but two new handsets on China’s 3C (CCC) certification portal? The devices in question here bear the following model numbers: Samsung SM-F7070 and Samsung SM-N9810. Going by past leaks, we already know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the yet to be announced Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G have similar-sounding model numbers. We have reasons, therefore, to believe that what you see in the images below are references to the Galaxy Note 20 and the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G.

Take a look at the images below

From the images above you can see that the Samsung SM-N9810 appears to ship with a 25W charger while the Samsung SM-F7070 gets by with a 15W charger.

Note that it was just a few weeks ago that folks over at Sammobile had reported about the possibility of Samsung coming up with a 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip, which the company would also offer in a new color. The original variant of the phone, if you recall, only came with LTE support.

As for the other model number Samsung SM-N9810, we already know that this number is closely related to already rumored model numbers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series which are as follows:

SM-N981: Note 20
SM-N985: Note 20 Plus
SM-N986: Note 20 Ultra
