Gionee Elife E7L is a variant of the latest flagship phone from Gionee - Elife E7 that runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The device is powered with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor. In terms of storage, the phone has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
Screen and Design
Gionee Elife E7L sports a 5.5" full HD IPS LCD with capactive touch screen and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device has edge to edge screen with 2.3 mm bezel and has a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels that gives an effective pixel density of about 401 PPI. Design wise, the phone has inherited looks from the company's previous flagship device - Elife E6 and seems to be a bigger version of Elife E6.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone has 16 MP primary rear camera which makes the device the best camera phone with Android operating system. There is also an LED flash beside the primary camera for better low light photography. The phone has a 8 MP secondary camera on the front which could be used for video-calling and snapping selfies. Both the cameras of the device are capable of recording full HD videos. The phone also supports playback of common multimedia formats which includes, but not limited to, MP3, MP4, AVI, WAV, AAC, etc.
Software and Features
The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 operating system on top of which is Gionee's own Amigo UI that resembles Apple iOS' UI. The device also has knock-on feature which could wake up your device by double tapping the screen (as seen on LG G2) and always-on Google search voice controls (as seen on Moto X). The device comes with other common features and apps pre-loaded including Gmail, Google search, Maps, Hangouts, document reader, image and video editor, etc.
Battery and Connectivity
The device has a 2500 mAh battery which should be enough to keep the device powered for an entire day with moderate usage. Other connectivity options of the phone includes GPRS, EDGE, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 & USB v2.0.
