Design and Specifications
HTC Desire U is a low cost dual-SIM smartphone from HTC. The phone features a 4.0 Super LCD capacitive touch screen with a display resolution of 800X480 pixels and has a pixel density of approximately 233 ppi. The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The device houses a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM, making it more than sufficient for a device in this category. The phone has handy features and looks similar to the other low end desire phones such as the Desire V and Desire C. The phone has dimensions of 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3 mm and weighs only 114 grams.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone sports a 5 MP with features such as LED flash, auto focus and Geo-tagging. The camera can record WVGA resolution videos. The phone also provides great multimedia experience in terms of support for music formats such as MP3, eAAC+, WMA and WAV and video formats such as MP4, H.263, H.264 and WMV.

HTC Desire U comes with dual SIM and runs on quad band 2G, dual band 3G networks. The phone provides internet connectivity via GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi networks. The phone also provides additional connectivity options to assist users share data via micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 and optional nfc.
Battery and Storage
The phone houses a 1650 mAh battery. For storage of memory, the phone provides 4 GB of memory capacity. This can be further expanded via micro SD card slot by up to 32 GB.
