HTC One is HTC's premium smartphone offering for the year 2013. The phone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, powered by 1.7 GHz quad core processor from SnapDragon 600 which is the fastest processor till date. The phone has 2 GB of RAM. The phone features a 4.7" Super IPS LCD 3 capacitive touch screen with full HD display resolution that is 1080*1920 pixels. The screen has an extremely high clarity thanks to its 469 ppi pixel density.

HTC is coming out of the typical megapixel war waged by premium smartphones who are increasing their camera's megapixel count to compete. HTC has broken away from this trend by introducing a novel concept in their camera sensor, which they call Ultrapixels. HTC One's camera features not one but 3 sensors of 4.3 MP each. These sensors provide a much higher quality images than even 12 MP cameras. In addition to its Ultrapixel camera, HTC will also feature a front facing 2 MP secondary camera for full HD video calling. For videos the phone supports DivX, XviD, MP4, H.263, H.264 and WMV formats.
