Huawei Honor V10

Chinese telecommunication giants Huawei announced the release of yet another device in their Honor line of smartphones, the Huawei Honor V10. Honor phones are easily one of the best ones out there, with its stunning design and power-packed features and the Honor V10 continues that legacy.

Like other recent Honor devices, the Honor V10 features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2160x1080 with an 18:9 aspect ratio, giving it a near bezel-less look. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protecting the panel gives it an overall well-rounded look. The primary camera is 20+16-megapixels with Phase and Laser Detection Autofocus, dual-tone LED flash and can record 4K videos at 30 fps. The secondary camera is also a commendable 13-megapixel shooter capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps. Like their predecessors, the Honor V10 is up there when it comes to camera performance and the V10 is capable of capturing high-quality images under a variety of lighting conditions.

All Huawei devices run a variant of Huawei's in-house Kirin SoC and the Honor V10 is no exception. It is powered by an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 970 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz, Huawei's best so far. It is paired with an ARM Mali-G72 MP4 GPU for an unparalleled gaming experience. The 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card) is coupled with a whopping 6GB of RAM. The device is expected to run Android Oreo 8.0, customized with Huawei's EMUI 8.0 out of the box.

The Huawei Honor V10 is a dual SIM phone with 4G and VoLTe capabilities. The fingerprint scanner is rear-mounted, right under the camera lens. The Honor V10, however, lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, which will come as a disappointment to many. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n/ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC and a USB Type C connector for charging and data transfer. Powering the behemoth is a 3,650mAh Li-ion battery.
