Micromax introduced the dual-SIM Canvas Juice A77 smartphone focusing on battery powered run times. That’s why the company has added a 3,000 mAh capacity battery which promises talk time of about 10 hours.
Though it runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version, it can easily pull off decent visuals for the 5-inch qHD display with 854×480 pixel resolution. This display delivers pixel density of 196 PPI which is barely sharp enough but works for many who don’t have to read a lot of text.
Micromax has incorporated a dual-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6572 mobile chipset belted with Mali-400 GPU for graphics. This mobile chipset is armed with 1GB of RAM and 4 GB of on-board storage. The memory card slot can hold up to 32GB micro SD card.
In the front are the three capacitive menu keys and a VGA camera with proximity center next to it rests on the forehead of the phone. At the back is a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED Flash update. Apart from clicking decent images, the camera can record 720p HD quality videos at 30 frames per second.
In terms of connectivity, Canvas Juice A77 can hold two SIM cards out of which one can be 3G enabled. The Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n promises smooth mobile web browsing experience. Music can be enjoyed over the FM radio else you can transfer some files over Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP. Location based services are supported by a GPS chips with A-GPS.
