Does it support VOLTE?
No, it is 4G but it doesn't support VoLTE. If you are asking for Jio then net will be perfect in this but for calling you need to install app i.e. Jio 4G voice .

Yes, it does... It also has NFC and 4G capability... It's one of the best phones I ever used... Though the battery life was not that great but it depends on your day to day usage.

Simply the Best!!
Had brought this on its very first day and have been using since then.

All i can say is if you want an excellent problem free phone, go for it!!
Never hangs, runs smoothly, decent battery back up, excellent camera, excellent display, no scratches with screen guard off(gorilla glass), nano coating (for increased protection against water). It has everything that a practical person looking for best buy wants. Everything about this phone is perfect. You can not get anything better than this for 24k. It was around 30k in U.S. before it released in India, its in competition with the phones like iphone5s, samsung galaxy s4, google nexus 5. And if you watch a youtube video of this particular comaprison (drop test/water test/table) , moto x comes out the indisputable winner.

I had previously used MOTOROKR EM30 for a couple of year and it turned out to be awsome, rock solid. I feel the same with this phone.

Moto X is a Stunner!!
--> It has a 4.7 inch 720p HD screen that has 312 ixels per inch density. The screen looks just awesome to watch.
--> There is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection which means your phone's screen will have resistance to scratches.
--> The Sound output is very nice. It is clear. Call quality is great. It gets phone signal's easily.
--> The 2 GB RAM is more than enough for true multitasking without any lag.
--> The phone even has NFC.
--> The 10MP back camera takes stunning images and is awesome. It can record 1080p Full HD videos.
--> The phone is upgradable to android 4.4.4 Kitkat. Motorola is also known for releasing quick software updates.
--> The graphics quality is fantastic.
--> The phone has a touchless control feature using which you can give voice commands to the phone even while its in sleep. Just say "ok google" followed by the command to send message or open an app, search for something on google, set reminder etc.
--> The phone has a separate processor for this task which runs on low power so there is no battery impact.
--> There is also an active notifications feature. Just pull up or down on the phone while its off (standby mode) and it shows you the notifications.
--> I like the design and its available in a variety of colours.

--> There is a non-removable battery.
--> The battery is not that good so maybe a removable battery could have come in handy.
--> There is no SD card support in the phone.
--> The phone features a 1.7 Ghz dual core cpu which is good enough. But the competition offers quad core processors.
--> The front facing 2MP camera is mediocre.
--> Just about 6-7 months of support ios left for the phone. So, it will receive the android L but after that its all up to Motorola.
--> There is no inclusion of FM radio on the phone.

This is an awesome phone with an awesome back camera. The battery will also be enough for anyone with average use but not for a heavy user. The features like touchless control and active notifications are some interesting and useful additions to the phone. The phone scores on display, usability, creativity, customization and rear camera but it loses out in the front camera, repair-ability, battery and storage. Still all in all its an awesome addition to the Motorola's device list and buying one of this is certainly a nice decision.

If you are not that enthusiastic about the camera and want a more powerful phone that would be updated till a much longer time, I would recommend you the Nexus 5. It will however be missing the active notifications feature and the touch less control on it is also quite limited.

Best in the Segment
The phone is excellent you cannot a get a better phone in this price. I purchased it for 22800 after getting a student discount that its exclusive seller offers. The pros and the cons and discussed below.

Good looks: it has a good look not a one that will immediately catch your attention on one go but still it is good looks great in hands and is slightly curved making it look better. The edges are not that curved but its okay. It has a plastic back panel which is good in quality.

Nice Handiness: It weighs only 130 grams and is thin. As the screen is big carrying it hands is not always good. The curved design gives a better grip and makes typing easy during walking.

Durability: It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which protects the screen from scratches. It is also a water repellent coating on screen which saves the mobile from small water spills. The phone is overall tough but the back panel gets easy scratches.

Great screen size and resolution: It has a 4.7 inch AMOLED screen, amolded screen were only available only in high segment phones till now. Colours come out to be great on screen. It has a resolution of 1280 x 720 which makes it almost 300 ppi which is great. The texts appears to be crisper and clearer.

Great Processor Good RAM gives a Great Performance: It has 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM and a Quad-Core Adreno 320 GPU. The @ GB RAM makes the gaming and multi tasking smooth and is same available in all leading handsets but dual core processors are bit old but doesn't affects its performance which is butter smooth.

Camera: It has a 10 MP rear camera which really takes great images in daylight but in low light the quality gets down. It record 1080p full Hd videos that are really great. It is for sure has got one of the best camera available in this segment. The front camers is a 2 MP camera which clicks some great selfies on the go.

Operating System and UI: It comes out with 4.4.2 Android KitKat and Motorola also gives frequent updates. The user interface and features put in by Motorola are awesome. Moreover it will soon get updated to Android L which will even make the UI better.

Great Value for money: It offers great value for money as some of the features it has are of one segment above and you cannot get a better phone with better features in this segment.

Bad Battery backup and battery saving feature: It has a has 2200mAh which is good but looking at its size and the amount of battery it drains it discharges very fast. It has a battery saver mode which automatically switches on when battery gets below 15%and turns off background data to save battery. It last around 6-8 hours only when continuously used but with wifi on decreases a bit more.

Slow Charging: I first thought that something is wrong with the socket and changed it but on all the sockets the charging was slow. The slow charging is really frustrating and if you often need a quick charge then for sure you will hate this phone.

Undependable memory: It does not have a memory expansion option so you need to mange your space intelligently and clean the unneeded data often.

Missing Dual Sim: It does not have a dual sim option which is available in all phones of this segment. If you have two sims and like to carry only one phone then its disappointing.

Decision: The pros and cons have been but forward and it your decision afterall. The pros it has are really good where as the cons are really user based so if you can comprise it or overlook it then for sure go for the phone. It's simply awesome and I would rate it 9/10.

MOTO X: The Inner Awesomeness!!
Looking at the price given to this phone, I would say that we are getting more than what we have asked for. This phone is made for HUMANS and mocks high priced models like the Nexux 5, Xperia Z1 compact, Samsung S3,&S4 and many more.
This has 8 cores if also consider the GPU cores.
It has one dedicated core for hands free voice software "OK GOOGLE NOW!"
so without pressing a button the phone adapts and recognises its owners voice.
It has one dedicated core for its Contextual Computing i.e for its HD AMOLED display.
It is fast enough to run any high performing apps. And plus you can choose/customize the phone body.
I totally love this phone
