Design and Specifications
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Duos is the dual sim version of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 that is being made for Chinese market. The phone essentially has the same specifications as the Samsung Galaxy Note but provides the option of having a second SIM. The phone has a 5.5"Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen just like the Note 2. The screen has a 267 ppi pixel density with a resolution of 720* 1280 pixels. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and features the latest Nature UI from Samsung as well. The phone houses a 1.6 GHz processor with a 2 GB RAM.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone features the same 8 MP camera as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and is capable of full HD video recording. The camera comes with additional features such as Geo tagging, face and smile detection, simultaneous full HD video recording and photographing and Geo tagging. There is also a secondary 2.1 MP camera with full HD video calling capability. The phone is just as capable as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in terms of multimedia consumption and supports video formats such as MP4, DivX, XviD, WMV, H.264 and H.263 and also music formats such as MP3, WAV, eAAC+, AC3 and FLAC.
Connectivity and Features
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Duos provides dual SIM connectivity. The phone supports one mini SIM and one Micro SIM. The phone can connect to quad band 2G and 3G on both Sims. The phone can also connect to internet via GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wifi. The phone also provides additional data sharing options via Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.1 and NFC.
Battery and Storage
The phone offers a 3010 mAh battery that provides up to 35 hours of talk time in 2G and 15 hours of talk time on 3G. The phone is available in variants with internal memory of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The phone also allows users to expand the memory via micro SD card by up to 32 GB.
