Design and Specifications
Sony Xperia E Dual is the dual sim version of the Sony Xperia E. The phone holds the same specifications as the Sony Xperia E including the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. The phone sports the same handy structural elements of the Sony Xperia E such as the 3.5" capacitive touch screen display with display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and offers a pixel density of approximately 165 ppi. The phone as we informed runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is perhaps the most affordable dual sim phone to run the OS. The phone offers the same humble 1 Ghz processor from SnapDragon as the single sim version and also holds the same 512 MB RAM.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone has no changes in terms of camera either with the same 3.15 MP camera with the Geo tagging
functionality.The phone has no front camera just like its single sim cousin. The phone has no changes in the multimedia support either with support for audio formats such as MP3, eAAC+, WMA and WAV and video formats such as MP4, H.263, H.264 and WMV.
Connectivity and Features
Sony Xperia E Dual runs quad band 2G and 3G networks on both its Sims. The phone lets the user access internet just like the Xperia E via GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wifi. There is the same characteristic bluetooth 2.1 accessibility as well as micro USB connectivity offered even in the dual sim version.
Battery and Storage
The Dual sim version also uses the same 1530 mAh battery as the single sim version and provides the same 6 hours talk time on 2G and 3G networks. Even the internal memory is only 4GB just like the single sim version and there is a micro SD card slot to expand the memory by up to 32 GB.
