Sony Xperia V is an upper mid range smartphone from Sony. The phone features similar specs to the Sony Xperia T but with a smaller screen and sturdier body. The phone has a 4.3" TFT capacitive touch screen. The phone runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and is upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor with 1 GB RAM. The phone has dimensions of 129 x 65 x 10.7 mm making it fairly mid size and weighs 120 grams making it fairly light.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone has a 13MP camera with auto focus and LED flash. The camera has additional features geo tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, 3D sweep panorama and image stabilization. The camera can shoot Full HD 1080p videos with continuous auto focus, video light and video stabilizer.

Sony Xperia V is an LTE enabled version of the Sony Xperia T.The phone also has a secondary video camera. The phone runs on quad band 2G and penta band 3G and is LTE complaint. The phone provides Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB 2.0 for catering to the connectivity needs of the user. The phone also has NFC to enable transfer of data between NFC enabled devices as well for payment in stores using Google wallet. The phone can connect to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, 3G and LTE networks as well as Wifi. The phone features a sturdy body and corning glass 2 which is dust proof and scratch proof. The phone is also waterproof for up to 1 meter depth for up to 30 minutes.

The phone has a 1700mAh battery that provides up to 7 hours talk time in 2G and 3G networks. The phone has 32 GB internal memory which is expandable by up to 32 GB via microSD card.
