Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 64GB Details

The Redmi series from Xiaomi aims at providing the customers with smartphone devices that have mid-range specifications at an entry-level price range. Most of the smartphone users in India have a budget of around Rs.10,000 for their future smartphone device, and Xiaomi had previously hit the right vein by launching the Redmi Note 3 at Rs. 9,999 in the year 2016. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was a big hit for the company in India as it launched the device with powerful hardware at a very attractive price. However, the company has now launched the Xiaomi Note 4 in India with an updated hardware and design. The device is available in Champagne Gold, Dark Grey, & Matt Black. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a fingerprint sensor on the back to unlock the device quickly; it also has an in-built app locker that provides the users with better privacy over their data.
Display & Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 carries the same 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display from its predecessor. The display can go up to a maximum of 450 nits of brightness, providing the user with better visibility under direct sunlight. It is worth mentioning that the Xiaomi has included a Reading Mode that helps the user to read the content on the display comfortably during low-light conditions. The Reading Mode helps one’s eyes by filtering out the blue light from the display.  The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The primary camera now has lesser resolution than its predecessor but Xiaomi says that the overall image quality has been improved. The 13-megapixel primary camera comes with phase-detection autofocus, and a dual-tone LED flash. The current 5MP secondary camera is nothing to complain about. However, we expected the device to feature the selfie camera with an increased resolution. The primary, as well as the secondary camera, can record Full HD videos, while the primary camera is also capable of recording slow-motion videos.
Software & Performance
The mobile phones experts had high hopes that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will come pre-loaded with the Android 7.0 Nougat. Sadly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 disappoints in this criteria as it comes pre-loaded with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with the Xiaomi’s MIUI 8. However, the device is expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update soon. We at MySmartPrice will provide you with the latest firmware news for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 on our blog Gear by MySmartPrice, so please head to our blog for the latest news in the world of gadgets and electronics. The updated hardware on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 includes the Snapdragon 625 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. As the Snapdragon 625 is based on 14nm FinFET technology, it will consume less power than the Snapdragon 650 chipset that was present in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi says that the device will provide 25% more battery life compared to its predecessor. Even though the device comes with ample of storage, it also has a microSD card slot for users with larger storage requirement.
Battery & Connectivity
We at Gear by MySmartPrice reviewed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 back in 2016 and were amazed by the device’s battery performance; it lasted over 2 days even under heavy usage, providing above 8 hours of screen-on time. Now, with the launch for Redmi Note 4, we hope the new device to perform even better. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a non-removable 4,100 mAh battery. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is capable of accommodating two SIM cards at once, or one SIM card and a microSD card. That means you can’t enjoy the dual-SIM connectivity if you want to use the microSD card. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 supports dual-band Wi-Fi ac/a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS (with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou), IR port, microUSB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

There are a lot of differences between these two phones. 1-) Processor - Redmi Note 4 - SD 625 (octa-core) ( 14 nm based Chipset ) - Lenovo K8 Note - Helio X23 (deca-core) (28nm chipset ) #Winner - Snapdragon 625 ( Redmi Note 4) due to its 14nm chipset which can handle all the apps and will consume power as well as it has a buttery smooth interface. :) 2-) Camera - K8 Note - Dual Camera and awesome front camera (bokeh effect is useless). - Redmi Note 4 - An average camera. 3-) UI - K8 Note - Stock Android with no customisation ( with O update surety) - Redmi Note 4 - MIUI 9 with customisation.

Redmi Note 4 has more screen to body ratio, and it is lighter than Lenovo. But the OS of Lenovo is upgraded, it has an advantage of having the deca-core processor, and its camera is also better.

That depends on which model of Redmi Note 4 you want to buy. Let's talk about the specifications. If you buy the one which has an internal memory of 64GB and 4GB RAM then, in that case, it has more memory size compared to Oppo A57, which has a 32GB internal memory with 3GB RAM. But again, in Oppo, you can expand the memory up to 256GB while in Redmi, you can expand it only to128GB. And if you purchase other models of Redmi Note 4, like the one with 3 GB RAM, there'll be hardly any difference. Hope this was helpful.

Redmi Note 4 is definitely ranked as number 1 amongst the two. Redmi Note 4 has a faster processor, more RAM, bigger screen, better screen resolution, more internal storage and a bigger battery. In all, it's far better than Oppo A57. I am using Redmi Note 4, it is a super and awesome phone in this budget.

The main difference is the processor. Redmi Note 4 has Snapdragon 625 whereas Oppo A57 has Snapdragon 435. And also, there is a huge difference between their battery capacities i.e. Redmi Note 4 has 4100mAh whereas Oppo A57 has 2900mAh.

What is the difference between water resistant and waterproof?
WATER-RESISTANT If a product is labeled as “water-resistant,” it was designed specifically to resist damage by water. In most cases, products are coated with a light substance to help improve their ability to ensure regular water exposure. This is a label you see commonly among products that resist regular exposure to water (hand-washing or light rain) but are not built to withstand any heavier exposure. WATERPROOF A waterproof label provides the highest level of water protection among all labels. “Waterproof” means that the surface of the product is completely impermeable. Waterproof means you can actually use the phone in the water freely like you can use it in the heavy rain and while swimming too. But resistance means it can only be ok for some extent i.e. when water is dropped on it by mistake, but not dropping the phone in the water bucket.
By Nayankad**
Mark Helpful (144)
Water resistance means the device is spillproof which doesn't keep water stay over the device whereas waterproof enables the device not to persist water inside the device.
By Tgco**

Water-resistant means it doesn't allow water to get into the device to some extent whereas waterproof means it completely blocks the water to penetrate into the device.

Water resistant means can be used in rain or moisture but cannot dip in water and water proof means we can use it in the water upto a specific depth and time period.

Which one is better Redmi Note 4 or Lenovo P2?
I have Redmi Note 4 my self, and it is quite good, I'm using this with heavy multitasking and heavy gaming. You can't get a pinch of lag in this. Lenovo P2 is also a great mob, my friend has this model, but sometimes when he does heavy gaming like playing Asphalt and WWE immortals, it lags little bit by little bit I mean very little. If you are a person who likes games and want to do very heavy multitasking go for the Mi Note 4 bro and if you are a casual user and you do light gaming like subway surfers, temple run etc. you can buy the P2. I hope this will help you.

My phone battery is taking 10 hours to charge, is there any solution for this?
Hi, Thanks for asking me for help. If you are facing the charging issue then, first of all, you have to follow some steps: 1. If you have installed some charging booster software, then uninstall it. 2. Reset your phone. 3. Use only Mi original adapter. If you are using USB charging from laptop/PC, then sometimes it takes more time. 4. There may be voltage problem in your house so check it, if not, then you should try another plug point. After implementing these steps, if you still face the same problem, then replace your charger in Mi service Centre. Hope for a better result.

If you charge with the original charger which you get with mobile, for a full battery it takes 1 to 2 hours. Don't use another charger to charge the mobile, as it takes much time.
By Molpari**
Mark Helpful (109)
Firstly, you should reset your device. Then try to connect the original charger, if it's not working then contact Mi authority.
By Ramko**
Mark Helpful (83)
If you are using a Mi charger then it hardly takes 2 hours 20 minutes to fully charge from 20% to 100%.

It should not. Charge only with the charger which comes along with your mobile.

Good phone.
I am using it for the past six months with no problems. The battery is good; it has no hanging issue. I use it for my everyday work. I do not use it for gaming, net browsing and other downloads. It's pretty good.
Photos in low light are bit disappointing.
