Does it support Jio sim?
Yes, it supports Jio SIM. But we cannot call directly from default calling app of Mi. This phone supports only LTE Network of 4G, and lacks VoLTE Network. So we have to install Jio4GVoice App from Play Store and have to keep this app in running mode to get an incoming call while we are using Jio SIM.

Yes, Jio is supported. It supports LTE, means only 4G data (Not VoLTE Direct Call). For calls, you can use Jio4GVoice app.

Mi devices, their service centre & customer support is the worst in the world
1/5
Mi4i: Don't ever think to buy this cheap chinese phone. Their devices as well as their service centre and customer support is the worst in the world. I got this on 22/Oct/15 from Amazon, and within first 15 days I started experiencing heavy call drop problem. I contacted Xiaomi for replacement but they denied and asked me to submit my handset to service center. Since I didn't had any other choice I need to submit it to service center, they returned it back to me after 15-20 days after changing its motherboard. When I started my phone again and inserted SIM card in both SIM1 and SIM2 slots, there was no network at all, I need to revisit service center again and they said its motherboard needs to be replaced again. They have again replaced the same and gave it back to me. I felt some sound coming out of the handset now, I re visited service center again and asked them to open in front of me, they did and found that 1 screw was missing and they very easily replied that engineer might have missed the screw by mistake but the sound was still there, they said you can get your motherboard replaced once again if not satisfied. When I again tried to insert SIM card into both the SIM slots, still no network. Can anyone imagine a smartphone without network, you tell me what to do with this cheap mobile now. Beware of this local mobile company, it's better to get Freedom 251 rather than this one.

The Best of Xiaomi.
5/5
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is the best ever phone at such a price. It has bombarding specifications and a lot more- Pros- 1) It has a wonderful 5.5 inch IPS LCD screen with 720 x 1280 pixels giving a 267 ppi pixel density. The resolution is somewhat less, however the viewing angles are crisp and the text while browsing or messaging appears bright and clear. 2) It boasts a 1.6 Ghz Snapdragon 400 Quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 305. These sort of specs come with a phone worth 25k or above. But Xiaomi has brought this beauty at such a low price. It gives a great performance without any lags or stutters. The heavy games like Asphalt 8 runs very smoothly. Overall, day to day tasks, heavy tasks, multitasking, browsing, video playback and anything and everything is brilliant about this phone 3) The interface is unique and better than earlier versions. It comes inbuilt with MIUI 5.0. It is clean and is free of bloatware. However, some people might like the Google Android, or WP 8.1, or the iOS, so I would not rather force my opinions on you. The choice of interface is user dependent and it should be. But, I feel it's something different. Give it a go and trust me, you would appreciate the work and design of this software rather the monotonous boring Android on other phones. It comes with built in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and is upgradable further. With unique customizations of Xiaomi clubbed with Android make it a superior phone. It is a beast. 4) The camera is something really superior to other phones in terms of megapixels. It has a 13 MP front camera and a 5 MP secondary camera. The 13 MP is equivalent to an 8MP camera of Apple and captures some beautiful and clear pictures even in the low light due to LED flash and other software features that come along with the camera. 5) The battery is damn good I should say. The 3100 mAh battery lasts for 4 days max if you do not overuse, otherwise 2-3 days. After heavy gaming, video playback, playing music, browsing, and doing numerous things on phone continuously, you do not have to bother about the charger. It is too good. 6) And of course the price is the major plus point of this phone. All this can be purchased at a very, very affordable price. Cons- 1) Xiaomi is new to this business and other companies like Apple and Samsung have already set their feet into this era long back. Hence, trust might be something bothering the consumers from buying this phone as in terms of brand value, etc. Xiaomi might not be a choice or a priority. 2) The interface is pretty snappy. However, a lot of work is still to be done to further improve the user experience in terms of animations, customizations and performance. I believe that Xiaomi will work over it. 3) The cheap plastic body and such a large screen might be an issue for some people. To conclude, Redmi Note 4G is a very good phone. Except for a few cons, it's somewhat better than many other phones. I would recommend it to people. Give it a go!

I bought this phone for my dad. In starting phone was preety good, later we realised that camera quality sucks in night, after 3 months now the screen are having a long thick orange strip. My dad is scolding me as i bought some chinese crap for him.I bought it by taking advice from my friends. Now i m not going to buy any phones apart from SONY. Becoz earlier we were using Xperia only and that was working preety well, but it was having its internal memory issues, that's why i thought to buy something new .
