Second generation Le smartphones to launch in India on June 8

LeEco has started rolling out invites for an upcoming event in Delhi on June 8. The company is expected to launch its second generation of Le superphones in India at that event.

Previously, LeEco in the month of April, launched three new smartphones dubbed as the Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and the Le Max 2 in China. During the launch event, LeEco promised that these devices will be available globally, including in India. The aforementioned smartphones are also known for being the world’s first smartphones to ditch the traditional 3.5mm audio port.

Speaking about the devices, the Le 2 sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD display and is priced at 1,099 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs. 11,300). The device is powered by a deca-core Helio X20 mobile chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. In terms of imaging, the device sports a 16-megapixel primary camera with PDAF and an 8-megapixels secondary front-facing camera. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and will support fast charging.

LeEco Invite

Le 2 Pro is priced at 1,499 Chinese Yuan(approximately Rs. 15,400) and sports 5.5-inch Full-HD In-Cell display. The device is powered by the Helio X25 mobile chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Le 2 Pro comes with a 21-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary front-facing camera.

Finally, the Le Max 2 is a high-end device from the company, which is the successor of the Le Max. The device is priced at 2,099 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs. 21,500) and sports a 5.7-inch quad-HD display. The device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 mobile chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM based on the variant.

All these devices come with USB Type-C charging port fast charging support.
