Dual-SIM HTC Desire 628 launched in India at Rs. 13,990


HTC today has launched the HTC Desire 628 for Rs. 13,990. This Desire 628 was recently rumoured with specs and features. HTC offers this dual-SIM model in a combination of high-contrast dual-tone colours.

Aimed at the mid-range segment, this phone sports a 5-inch HD display. The Desire 628 is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. HTC Desire 628 packs an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, and a Motion G-sensor. A twin stereo speakers in the front are powered by HTC BoomSound, a technology which made a debut with HTC’s Butterfly series of devices.


This Desire series model runs HTC Sense based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports gestures, pocket mode, and flip to mute options. Imaging is aided with a 13-megapixel rear camera and in the front is a 5-megapixel camera. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G, 3G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS, and a micro-USB port.

HTC Desire 628 packs a 2,200mAh battery with fast charging support. HTC plans to ship the Desire 628 in June.
