Dual-SIM HTC Desire 630 will go on sale in India from June 14


HTC, today, has launched the HTC Desire 630 along with six other smartphones in India and is expected to go on sale from June 14 in India. However, pricing of the device is yet to be revealed by the company.

Dual-SIM HTC Desire 630 is built plastic but looks a bit premium with the curved edges. The phone sports a 5-inch HD IPS display. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB through a microSD card.

The handset is provided with the HTC’s BoomSound audio technology along with the Dolby audio for detailed and clear music output.

On the software front, Desire 630 runs on HTC Sense UI, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Imaging on the device is handled by a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing secondary camera. In terms of connectivity, the handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0 port. The phone houses a 2,200mAh battery which comes with a bunch of power saving modes.

Based on the specifications, we estimate this phone to fall under the sub-Rs. 15,000 price band.
