OnePlus phones get a permanent price cut ahead of OnePlus 3 launch

Chinese phone maker, OnePlus, today slashed the prices of OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, and OnePlus X permanently. OnePlus has shaved $50 as discount from the existing price of these three models. Also, the users who have purchased a OnePlus device in past two weeks can also claim the refund of the difference.

All the OnePlus handsets have undergone a $50 (Rs. 3,375 approximately) price cut. The 64GB variant of OnePlus one, which was the company’s first device is now available for $249 (nearly Rs. 16,700). However, both the 16GB and 64GB variants of the OnePlus One have been out of stock for a while, and there is no word on their availability.

Similarly, the 64GB OnePlus 2 now costs $299 (Rs. 20,000 approximately) while the OnePlus X costs $199 (nearly Rs. 13,300).

The permanent price cut of the existing devices only confirms the arrival of OnePlus 3 on the anvil. The slashed prices are yet to reflect for the models sold in India. But looking at the company’s past strategies, we can expect the price cuts to levy any time in coming weeks.
