Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are celebrating the third anniversary of its Injustice: Gods Among Us in style. Both have partnered with Samsung to birth a limited edition smartphone dubbed – Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition.
Samsung has promised to release a limited number of units in select markets – China, North America, Russia, Singapore, Korea, and other regions soon. The company is yet to put a price tag on this limited edition bundle. The package includes a black Galaxy S7 edge with a golden Batman logo at the back, a gold-plated Batarang, a Samsung VR headset, Injustice game credits and Oculus VR content vouchers.
In a nutshell, this limited edition phone is basically the same Galaxy S7 edge as sold otherwise. However, the design and software level customizations in terms of UX and the themes is very Batman character centric.
“We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and offer a special edition of Galaxy S7 edge for fans of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Samsung always seeks to provide the best mobile gaming experience for its users, and this partnership reinforces our commitment to the game’s fans,” said Samsung in a press release.
Last year, Samsung had partnered with Marvel Studios to produce a Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man limited edition phone.
