The consumer-ready Project Tango is all set to make its appearance at Lenovo’s upcoming Tech World conference on 9th June in San Fransisco. The event is expected to mark the launch of new virtual reality, smart connected devices, and Cloud Technology. Among the announcements, also scheduled is the first consumer Project Tango-equipped Android smartphone. A recent leak by prolific tipster Evan Blass suggests that the first Project Tango phone will actually be the Lenovo Phab2 Pro.

Project Tango which has already been in development for some time was known to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Now as we get closer to the event, further leaks have started flowing in. Recent leaks suggest that the Phab2 Pro will boast a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of QHD 1440×2560 pixels.

Nothing much apart from the screen size and the processor is known till now but as Lenovo earlier said that the Project Tango phone will be priced under Rs 30,000. At the Tech World 2016, Lenovo is expected to pull the curtains off the first consumer-ready Project Tango phablet along with the announcement of new Motorola products, perhaps even the new Moto Z phones – Moto Z and Moto Z Play – which has been among the news constantly over the past few weeks. Another leak suggests that these phones could come with StyleMod covers.
