Lenovo Tech World, the company’s annual tech show, is scheduled to kick-off today where the company is introducing the new Moto Z series phones. While Motorola states that the RAZR phones aren’t making a return, a new Lenovo Tech World teaser posted on Weibo points at 10x optical zoom in an upcoming Moto Z series phone.
The teaser image carries the Lenovo Tech World mention along with an image showing 16 golden points symbolising the pogo pins meant to connect with a dock or other accessories. We recently reported about the MotoMods, the backplate modules, spotted to support an upcoming Moto Z series device. So, we expect the MotoMods to launch with the new phone as well.
Apart from the pins, Weibo carried text in traditional Chinese, which roughly translates to 10 times optical zoom. The Motorola event scheduled on June 9 is rumored to be the launchpad for the two Moto Z series devices – Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style. But it is difficult to judge whether both phones will have 10x Optical Zoom. The Moto Z Play is expected to have a 16-megapixel camera with laser autofocus, while the Moto Z Style will sport a 13-megapixel camera with laser autofocus and optical image stabilisation.
