LeEco, ZUK, and OnePlus are basking in the glory of bringing out smartphones loaded with 6GB of RAM. ASUS, too, announced the ZenFone 3 with 6GB of RAM last month. There’s no stopping LeEco though, as the company is rumoured to be working on a new flagship smartphone with some mind-numbing specifications, as reported by GizChina.
The rumour mill hints that LeEco will equip its upcoming flagship smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset and whopping 8GB of RAM. If that wasn’t enough, the company will throw in a 25-megapixel camera. There’s said to be a fingerprint sensor under the camera, and this beefed-up smartphone is rumoured to be priced at 3,000 Yuan (roughly Rs 30,530).
We will have to wait to see if (and when) 8GB of RAM and the next-generation Snapdragon chip will see the light of day. Till then, you should check out the OnePlus 3, which is available for purchase from Amazon India, and the Le Max 2, which is slated to go on sale from June 28 on Flipkart and LeEco’s online store Le Mall.
