Motorola had launched the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus in India on May 17, but the former didn’t go on sale in the country immediately. Now, the company has tweeted that the Moto G4 will go on sale in India on June 22 exclusively through Amazon.

The Moto G4 features a metal frame and comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 13-megapixel primary camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture, a 5-megapixel secondary camera, a Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The only thing that’s better in the Moto G4 Plus than the Moto G4 is the primary camera. The Moto G4 Plus features a 16-megapixel primary camera with 1/2.6-inch sensor, phase-detection and laser autofocus, ƒ/2.0 aperture, dual-tone flash, and 1080p video recording.
The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and comes with 4G LTE connectivity. The only thing that’s yet to be known about the Moto G4 is its pricing in India. If the company manages to launch the Moto G4 at price anything below Rs. 10,000, it would be a steal for consumers, especially for those who like the stock Android UI and fast software updates.
