Intex Aqua Classic entry-level, dual-SIM smartphone launches at Rs. 4,444

Intex has released a new entry-level smartphone, the Intex Aqua Classic in India. The phone has been officially listed on the company’s official website and is priced at Rs. 4,444. The Aqua Classic is expected to be available for purchase in India soon.

The Intex Aqua Classic will feature a 5.0-inch FWVGA with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Android v5.1 Lollipop, a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731C quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage that is expandable upto 32GB via microSD cards, and a 2,100mAh battery that Intex says will be good for 6 hours of talktime and 210 hours of standby.

In addition to these, the Aqua Classic will have a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity features of the Aqua Classic will include dual-SIM support, Bluetooth, 3G, and Wi-Fi, along with proximity and ambient light sensors, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The Aqua Classic will also come pre-loaded with Opera Mini, Matrabhasha, Cleanmaster, Hike, OLX, Mobikwik, Freecharge, Saavn and some more popular apps. The phone will be available in Champagne, White, and Grey colours.

In competition with the Intex Aqua Classic are the Reliance Digital Flame 6 and Phicomm Clue 360 smartphones, both of which host similar features to the Aqua Classic, in addition to offering 4G LTE support.

The Intex Aqua Classic joins another June 2016-release, the Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 smartphone as part of the Intex Aqua series.
