
Two days after launching the Aqua Classic, Intex has announced another device, the Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q, a cost-effective, dual-SIM Android phone for Rs. 2,999 in India. This new device is expected to go on sale soon. The Aqua 3G Pro Q follows last year’s Aqua 3G Pro priced at Rs. 3,666. Like already mentioned, this is the second smartphone Intex has announced in a span of three days, the former being the Intex Aqua Classic at Rs. 4,444 that released on June 27.
The lightweight Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q measures 9mm thick and weighs 114g. It features a 4.0-inch WVGA display and runs Android v5.1 Lollipop OS with Intex customizations on top. Powering the device is a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset with a Mali-400 GPU taking care of the graphics. The phone also gets 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The device supports microSD cards of upto 32GB capacity for memory expansion. The battery is a rather small capacity1,300mAh removable unit.
The phone sports a 2-megapixel camera at the rear and a 0.3-megapixel, secondary camera on the front. The rear camera gets am LED flash for low light conditions. The phone supports 3G networks and takes in two SIM cards at a time. Connectivity options include WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v2.1, and a microUSB port. The handset also comes preloaded with several apps that include 360 Security, Matrabhasha, Hike, Opera Mini to name a few.
The Aqua 3G Pro Q is available in Champagne, Metal Grey and White colours.
