Singapore based Swipe Technologies has launched a new 3G calling tablet in India called the Swipe X703. Priced just under the Rs. 8,000 mark, the Swipe X703 seems like an affordable option for people on the lookout for a tablet, albeit, on a shoestring budget. Let us now delve into the spec sheet of the X703.
For Rs. 7,499, the Swipe X703 will offer you a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels which translates to a pixel density of 160PPI. It houses a tablet specific Mediatek MTK8321 SoC that has four processor running at 1.2GHz. Also thrown in is a Mali GPU for graphics. The downside to this rather low pricing is the fact that the X703 only gets 1GB of RAM. Internal storage too, is on the lower side with the tablet getting 8GB of storage space.
