Lenovo Moto Z and Lenovo Moto Z Force smartphones were unveiled at the Lenovo Tech World convention in San Francisco last month. Now, Motorola is preparing the Moto Z Play, which is most probably a cut-down version of the Moto Z. AnTuTu revealed the details of the Moto Z Play today along with its specifications.
Motorola Moto Z Play (Vertex) is also being imported into India earlier this month. It has been spotted on AnTuTu with model number XT1635 revealing almost all of its specifications. The Moto Z Play running Android 6.0.1 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset (with Adreno 506 GPU) paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
The Zauba listing reveals that the Motorola Vertex a.k.a Moto Z Play features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display. Moreover, the Moto Z Play was spotted on GeekBench with model number XT1635. If rumours are to be believed, it will feature a 16-megapixel primary camera, similar to the Moto G4 Plus, and a 3,500mAh battery.
Motorola’s top executive confirmed last month that new Moto Z phones and Moto Mods accessories are expected to hit the Indian market by September or October 2016. Motorola may announce the Moto Z Play in the coming months.
