Samsung is preparing for the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7 soon. It has been in the news lately and is expected to be announced on the 2nd of August. Another key piece of evidence pointing towards an imminent launch of the Galaxy Note 7 was its entry into India Zauba, according to which, Samsung imported a couple of Galaxy Note 7 units for testing purposes. Today, AnTuTu has revealed more information about the Galaxy Note 7 (SM-N930V).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is rumoured to feature either a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch curved Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC (for the Northern American market) or an equivalent Exynos 8890 processor (for the rest of the world). It may also feature 4GB of RAM, just like the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, but there might be a 6GB RAM variant as well. It will most probably come with 32/64GB of internal storage space, a special UFS memory card slot for faster data transmission, and IP68-certified water-resistant body
The Galaxy Note 7 will be equipped with a 12-megapixel primary camera with dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus, OIS, ƒ/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Connectivity-wise, it is expected to feature a USB 3.0 Type-C port, which would make the Galaxy Note 7 the first smartphone from Samsung to feature the new standard. There could be a 3,600 mAh or a 4,000 mAh battery sealed inside the device, and it could be charged using a wireless charger or an Adaptive Fast Charger.
Samsung is also expected to equip the Galaxy Note 7 edge with an Iris Scanner and a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. Productivity could be enhanced using the upcoming BlackBerry Hub-like Samsung Focus app, which is tasked with bringing calendar, contacts, emails, to-do lists, and other things together for enhanced productivity. Samsung will also debut a new version of TouchWiz UX dubbed Grace UI, based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which has already been tested on the Galaxy Note 5. It will compete with the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 Plus and the recently announced Moto Z Force smartphones. You may also check Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price in India.
