ASUS has unveiled a new high-end tablet today. Dubbed ASUS ZenPad 3s 10, the tablet features a 9.7-inch high-resolution display, 4GB RAM, and a fingerprint sensor. The tablet was unveiled at an event in Taiwan, and it will go on sale on August 1 for TWD 11,000 (Rs 22,999).

The ASUS ZenPad 3s 10 features a 9.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,048×1,536 pixels, similar to the Apple iPad Pro 9.7 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. It also sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for clicking selfies and video calling.
Under the hood, the ASUS ZenPad 3s 10 comes with a 64-bit MediaTek MT8176 chipset featuring a hexa-core CPU (2 x 2GHz Cortex-A72 CPU cores + 4 x 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 CPU cores), PowerVR GX6250 GPU (clocked at 600MHz), 4GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s ZenUI on top of it.
The ASUS ZenPad 3s 10 also features a USB Type-C reversible port and a 5,900mAh battery. The Taiwanese company’s SonicMaster audio technology makes its way into the ZenPad 3s 10 as well with the help of ten magnet speakers (in stereo arrangement) and DTS Audio. The tablet also supports playback of 192KHz high-resolution audio files.
The high-end tablet comes with dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX, GPS (with GLONASS), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company has also claimed that the ZenPad 3s 10 would be able to run 10 hours on a single charge.
