Motorola has launched some good smartphones this year including the Moto G4 Plus and the Moto E. The Lenovo-owned brand also unveiled its high-end smartphones, the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force. It is now time for the company to introduce successors to the Moto X Play and the Moto X Style.
A new Motorola device (Motorola XT1650) was spotted on Geekbench, revealing most of the specifications. Now, this device has appeared once more on GFXBench revealing some extra information about the device. According to the listing, the upcoming Moto X smartphone features a QHD display and a dual-camera setup.
Moto X (2016) XT1650: Specifications
The Motorola XT16050 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch QHD display. Under the hood, it will feature a 2.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Moreover, GXBench states that the Moto X (2016) has a dual-camera setup with a 21-megapixel camera and a 12-megapixel camera, and both can record 4K videos. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels.
Coming to the other specifications, the upcoming Moto X might launch with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. Specifications of the device mostly look similar to the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force, which were launched a few weeks back. However, there is no confirmation about this smartphone from Motorola itself, nor has the company sent out any launch invite.

The Moto X could be unveiled ahead of the Christmas holiday season around the world, and it will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S7, Apple iPhone 7, OnePlus 3, Xiaomi Mi 5, LeEco Le Max 2, and others. Motorola is yet to launch the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force in India, and we expect them to bring its flagship smartphones in India in the next couple of months.
