Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specifications leak; could come bearing dual camera and Helio X20 SoC


Mark July 27 on your calendars because Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Redmi Note 4 in China. Additionally, there are rumours that the company could also reveal the Mi Note 2 and the much-rumoured Xiaomi Notebook. A new image of the retail box of the Redmi Note 4 actually  confirms the all the specifications before the actual launch.

Redmi Note 4 specs

We can see that the phone will come in a Gold colour variant with a 5.5-inch display, and that the phone is also equipped with the Helio X20 processor. It is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera, which could be a dual-camera setting if the specifications on the box are to be believed, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 4 could have 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, apart from the front fingerprint sensor. We can also expect a high end model of the Redmi Note 4, which is expected to come with Helio X25 processor and 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. It will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on Xiaomi’s own MIUI 8 Rom.

Both the variants are dual-SIM compliant and could come with a 4100/4000mAH battery. Also, a few days ago we had reported about the leaked images of an unannounced Redmi smartphone, which was rumoured to come with dual cameras — looks like the Redmi Note 4 fits the bill.
