
The HP Elite x3, which was first showcased at MWC 2016, will finally be available by the end of July in 47 countries including India as per the latest document released by HP. The 64GB variant of the device will be available for $699 (approximately Rs 46,938) in the US and EUR 699 in the EU.
The Windows 10 Mobile smartphone will also be available as a part of two packages: one that includes the Elite x3 with a premium headset and the HP Elite x3 Desk Dock. This bundle comes at a price tag of $799 and will be available August 29 onwards. The other includes the smartphone with the HP Elite x3 Desk Dock and the HP Elite x3 Lap Dock. The pricing and the exact release date of this one hasn’t been disclosed yet, but it is said to be much later than the first one.
HP Elite x3: Specifications
The HP Elite x3 is said to have a 5.96-inch AMOLED display with WQHD 1440x2560p resolution. Under the hood, there is a 2.15 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 2TB.
On the camera front, it has a 16-megapixel F2.0 FHD rear camera, 8-megapixel FHD front camera. The device also has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. In terms of network connection, the device has 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. It is powered by a 4,150mAh Li-Ion Polymer.
