Creative Aurvana ANC headphones will now be available in India. Part of Creative Technology’s premium Aurvana range of audio products, the Aurvana ANC headphones (Active Noise Cancellation), priced at Rs.10,999 will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting this month.
Active noise cancellation is the Aurvana ANC headphones’ most significant feature. Creative claims the headphones can cut up to 18dB of noise. The headset uses dual microphones to monitor noise levels, and then compensates for it. This noise cancellation is powered by a single AAA battery, which Creative claims will last for about 40 hours of continuous playback time. You can continue to use the headphones without the battery, and the ANC.
The headphones feature 40mm Neodymium magnet drivers capable of a frequency response of 20HZ to 20kHz. The Aurvana ANC is not Bluetooth enabled, and can’t be used wirelessly. For connectivity, it uses a 1.5m long braided cable with a 3.5mm connector. The cable comes with an in-line microphone and remote to control music playback and phone calls. It will allow you to switch between calls and music without having to reach for your phone.
The headphones sport soft leatherette ear cushions for the ear cups, designed to be worn over-the-ear. It has an adjustable headband. Without the battery and detachable cable, it weighs 170g.
The package includes an airplane travel adaptor, a detachable audio cable with in-line microphone, and a hard-covered travel case.
