
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime were launched in India on August 3, and the Redmi 3s Prime went on sale in the country on August 9. Now, the Xiaomi Redmi 3s, which comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, will go on sale in India on August 17 through Flipkart and Mi.com.
Priced at ₹6,999, the Xiaomi Redmi 3s is an entry-level smartphone with a 5-inch HD IPS LCD screen, a 13-megapixel primary camera with phase-detection autofocus, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. It also comes with a humungous 4,100mAh battery, but it’s non-removable.
Other features include a 64-bit, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor couple with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It runs MIUI 7.5, which is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and they company has promised that it will release the MIUI 8 update for the Redmi 3s soon.
Connectivity-wise the Xiaomi Redmi 3s features a hybrid dual-SIM card slot with 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. There’s also a headphone jack on the smartphone. It is one of the best-specced entry-level Android smartphone in the market right now.
