Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime earlier this month at affordable price tags and some exceptional specifications. The Redmi 3s went on sale on Flipkart and Mi.com at 12PM yesterday and went out of stock shortly, thanks to huge demand that we have come to expect from every new phone from the company. Now, Xiaomi India head Manu Jain has posted a tweet stating that Xiaomi Redmi 3s sales reached 90,000 units in the first sale within 10 minutes.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime: Sales

The Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime comes with 5-inch IPS LCD display with HD screen resolution. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 430 processor with 1.4GHz octa-core 64-bit CPU and Adreno 505 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and a mammoth 4,100mAh battery. That’s not it. It even comes with a fast fingerprint scanner at the back. The Redmi 3s Prime has a 13 megapixel back camera with phase-detection autofocus and 1080p video recording, and 5 megapixel front shooter.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime is priced at Rs 8,999, which makes it the best deal for a smartphone purchase in the price range of ₹10,000. The company will conduct the first flash sale of the Redmi 3s on 17 August at 12PM through Mi.com as well as Flipkart. The Redmi 3s comes with the same specifications as the Redmi 3s Prime but reduces the RAM to 2GB and internal storage to 16GB. Have you ordered your Redmi 3s Prime yet?
