
Along with the ZenFone 3 range of smartphones that were launched yesterday, Asus launched its latest UltraBook, the ZenBook 3, in India. The Asus ZenBook 3 comes with pretty high-end specifications including the 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, a fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port. This laptop was first showcased during Computex earlier this year.
Asus ZenBook 3: Specifications
The Asus ZenBook 3 features a 12.5-inch 1080p display that is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 panel for protection against scratches. The company claims that the display on its laptop covers 72% of the NTSC colour gamut. In terms of internal hardware, it is powered by an Intel Core i7 7500U processor that’s clocked at 2.7GHz and can go up to 3.5GHz in Burst Mode. There’s Intel HD graphics, 16GB of 2133MHz RAM, and up to 512GB PCIe or M.2 SSD for storage needs.
It has a metal body with concentric circular pattern on its lid, a large glass trackpad, and a full-sized backlit keyboard. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the top right part of the trackpad, and it comes with Windows Hello feature for user authentication. Asus claims that the ZenBook can last up to 9 hours of usage, and that its battery can fast-charge up to 60 percent in just 49 minutes. It is just 11.9mm thin and weighs just 910 grams.
Asus ZenBook 3: Price and availability in India
The Asus ZenBook 3 price in India is set to ₹1,47,990. It will be available in three colours: Rose Gold, Royal Blue, and Quartz Grey. It will go on sale across all the major e-commerce stores like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ, and more as well as Asus Exclusive stores and retail chains in the country from October 2016.
