
Meizu is preparing to launch its flagship smartphone for 2016, the Meizu Pro 7. We have already seen leaked renders of the device that shows curved edge display. Relevant to these leaks, a new Meizu smartphone popped up on AnTuTu, but we couldn’t identify its exact model. Now, an image of a mysterious smartphone have surfaced online which might soon be announced by Meizu.
The design of this Meizu smartphone looks like a combination of the Samsung Galaxy C7 and the OnePlus 3. Meizu has not released such a smartphone yet, but now the Chinese smartphone vendor seems to be maintaining a new identity and launching new series of smartphones. Pointing to the earlier rumour, we might see the Meizu Pro 7 and this mysterious smartphone at the same event.

Meizu is rumoured to release the Pro 7 with a curved display, while this mysterious smartphone will have a flat display with QHD resolution. The Meizu Pro 7 might have a Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC processor (as spotted on AnTuTu listing), a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The internal storage and RAM capacity would be 4GB RAM and 32GB, respectively. The Pro 7 might come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Meizu hasn’t confirmed the launch event, but it seems that this new smartphone might debut on the 13th of September 2016.
Meizu Pro 7 is rumored to come for 2799 Yuan for the 4GB RAM varaint and 6GB RAM variant might debut for 3099 Yuan according to the sources. It will be interesting to see Meizu launching something unique on the same day.
