At the IFA event today in Berlin, Asus introduced a new portable monitor, claimed to be the world’s lightest and slimmest Full HD portable monitor, the ZenScreen MB16AC. It is a 15.6-inch monitor that weighs less than 2 pounds and measures only 8mm. The device has bezels of size 6.5mm, which means that you get an edge-to-edge display on this monitor. The company claims that the monitor is 60 percent thinner compared to previous models.

Along with the device, you also get a 1mm foldable smart case that allows you to prop it up in either vertical or horizontal landscape. You could also use the smart case to protect the display when not using it to hold the monitor in place. However, in case you don’t use the smart case, you can simply insert a pen into a slot at the bottom to prop it up. The ZenScreen also comes with a hybrid USB Type-C (USB-C) port that you can use as a power adapter as well as for video input with monitors that either have a USB Type-C port or a USB Type-A port.

The company hasn’t disclosed the release date yet. Meanwhile, we do know that it is priced at 269 euros (approximately ₹20,000).
