Google officially released Android 7.0 Nougat earlier this month, but surprisingly, didn’t announce any Nexus device to go with the brand new version of Android. The search engine giant announced that the LG V20 would be the first smartphone to run Android 7.0 out of the box. Now, LG has confirmed that the V20 would launch in India soon.

LG V20 India Launch Date

According to a report by Gadgets360, LG India’s Managing Director, Kim Ki-Wan, confirmed the company’s plan to launch the V20 in India and said, “I just few days ago made the decision to launch V20 [in India].” He also said that the company would bring the phablet to the country within one month.

The LG V20 runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and features a 5.7-inch QHD IPS LCD primary display protected by Gorilla Glass 4 along with a 2.1-inch secondary display. Under the hood, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.

It is expected to come with a 20-megapixel primary camera with OIS, laser autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording, and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. It will also feature a quad DAC for improved audio quality, and a USB Type-C port for making it future proof. It will cost upwards of ₹50,000 when it gets launched in India, and it will compete with the Galaxy Note 7.
