Motorola Moto E3 Power with 3,500mAh battery to launch for Rs 6,999 on September 19

Motorola is ready to introduced a new E-series device for the Indian market. Dubbed as the Moto E Power, this new smartphone features a massive 3,500 mAh battery will be sold exclusively at the Flipkart website. Motorola India has shared the teasers of the new Moto E Power on Twitter and Facebook. According to the promotions, Motorola Moto E3 Power is set to arrive on Monday, September 19.

As Gear reported earlier, Motorola has been importing the Moto E 3rd Generation units since end of the August. These Moto E 3rd Gen. units carry model number XT1706 and will be eventually introduced as the Moto E3 Power.

The Moto E3 Power sports For the first time, Motorola’s phone will house a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. Offering only 8GB or 16GB built-in storage options, Moto E3 Power gives you a memory slot to expand the storage further.

This phone features an 8-megapixel camera at the back and 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Moto’s Pure UI elements peppered on top of it. Needless to say that this dual-SIM phone will support 4G LTE in one slot and 2G network in the other. Its 3,500 mAh battery will certainly impress Indians but will also make it appear a bit thick.

The third generation E-series phone is set to replace the Moto E (2nd Gen.) priced at Rs 6,999. If the Zauba listing of the Moto E3 Power XT1706 showing the import price of Rs 5380 is to be considered, then the phone will indeed cost Rs 6,999.

Motorola will officially make the Moto E3 Power announcement in partnership with Flipkart on September 19. Stay tuned for we will be share more details about the launch and exclusive offers, if any. With the 4G LTE support, we assume that it might be compatible for using a Reliance Jio SIM and eligible for the Reliance Jio Welcome Offer.
