Huawei has been prepping for the launch of its flagship phablet, the Mate 9, and the device is under final testing as of now. The Huawei Mate 9 renders were leaked a few days back, confirming its design and an improved dual-camera setup. The smartphone is also expected to be released in a ‘Pro’ variant, which is codenamed as Long Island inside the company. Now, the smartphone’s manual has been leaked in the company’s homeland China, revealing more information about the device.

The Huawei Mate 9 instruction manual confirms that the smartphone will feature a dual-camera setup along with a dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone will also come with a USB-Type C port for charging and data transfer. For storage expansion, the Mate 9 will come with a microSD card slot. The standard variant of the Huawei Mate 9 is codenamed as Manhattan, and it will feature a 1080p Full-HD screen, while the higher-end variant will sport a 5.9-inch display QHD screen.

Coming to internal hardware, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro will use the recently announced HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset along with the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The dual-camera setup comprises of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor, while the front-facing camera will have a resolution of 8 megapixels. The Huawei Mate 9 and the Huawei Mate 9 Pro would run Android 7.0 out of the box with the company’s EMUI on top of it.

The standard variant of the Mate 9 is expected to be priced at $475, and it will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
