Information regarding the upcoming smartphone from OnePlus has been surfacing over the Internet since the past few weeks. Dubbed OnePlus 3T, the smartphone will be a minor upgrade to the OnePlus 3. The device received 3C certification as the OnePlus A3010 in China a few days back. Now, some new details about the OnePlus 3T launch date have been revealed through Weibo, and it indicates that the device could be launched on November 14. The device is said to feature the newer Snapdragon 821 processor and 6GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 3T might sport a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen (although it could also be an Optic AMOLED one), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of storage. There could also be a higher-end variant with 128GB of storage and 6GB RAM. Rumours suggest that the upcoming phone uses the Sony IMX398 camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture for improved image and video quality. As fast as the pricing is concerned, renowned leak-star Evan Blass mentioned a few days back that OnePlus could price it at $479 (₹ 32,000).
OnePlus 3T could also bring new things like Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and a simplified launcher as well as a quick and easy way to transfer files. It will only be available in Black, and its battery capacity is expected to be around 3,300mAh. The device will also come incorporated with Dash Charge rapid charging technology, which we’ve come to love on the OnePlus 3. Rumours also indicate that OnePlus 4 might be launched next year with the Snapdragon 830 SoC and Adreno 620 GPU.
