Samsung is all set to start the Android 7.0 Nougat beta testing program on the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge from November 9, which is expected to last until mid-December. This beta testing program on the S7 and S7 edge for Android 7.0 Nougat comes on the lines of a similar beta program that Samsung had offered last year for Android Marshmallow on the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge.

However, do note that models of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge manufactured only in the US, UK, South Korea and China are permitted to enroll in the Galaxy Beta Program. So, if you own either of these smartphones from one of these regions and want to be a part of the program, you must first install the Galaxy Beta Program app from the App Store and sign up. But, Samsung is currently allowing only a select number of participants to be a part of this program. Those of you who are selected can download beta Nougat builds from the Software Update section from the phone’s settings.

This beta testing program allows users to test new updates and also provide their feedback in terms of performance, stability and usability to Samsung.
