The Huawei P9 with its dual-camera setup won a lot of accolades from many, including the Gear team, since mid-August. Now the company is already working on its successor, likely to be dubbed, the Huawei P10.

As per a GFXBench benchmark listing, the Huawei P10 was noticed with the model number, Huawei LON-L29. The Huawei P9 has the model number LON-L19 and therefore conclusively, the LON-L29 can be safely assumed to be its successor, the P10.

The GFXBench listing states that the P10 houses a 5.5-inch display with a 1440 x 2560p resolution. Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the Huawei P10 runs the new octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset with eight cores clocked at 2.3GHz. The P10 carries a 12-megapixel camera, as per the listing, with autofocus and LED flash. It can record 4K videos too. It is safe to assume that this phone will also bring a dual-camera setup which saves the captured images in 12-megapixel resolution.

At the front will be an 8-megapixel camera for clicking selfies, video calls, and HD videos. No details on the battery capacity or the price of the P10 are available as of date.
