HTC is all set to announce a new member to the HTC 10 family soon. According to reports, the new handset that is expected to be launched at an event scheduled to be held on November 22 is the new HTC 10 Evo. Now, for the uninitiated, the HTC 10 Evo is just the global variant of the HTC Bolt that was recently launched for U.S. carrier Sprint. The HTC Evo 10 gets the same design and also happens to be water resistant.
Without wasting time, lets talk specs.
The HTC 10 Evo will get a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen and will run the newest version of Android – version 7.0 (Nougat). The handset will feature a now standard unibody aluminum design. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass coating for scratch resistance as well. Under the hood, the HTC 10 Evo gets a 2GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with Adreno 430 GPU. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and the option to expand the memory further with microSD cards. The HTC 10 Evo also happens to be IP57 water resistant.
Moving on to the imaging bit, the handset features a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. It also supports OIS. The main camera also supports 4K video recording along with 120fps slow-mo video. The front facing camera can take 8-megapixel stills. The handset gets a 3200 mAh battery and not to mention, a fingerprint scanner for added security
At launch, the HTC Evo 10 is expected to come in Gunmetal and Glacier Silver colors. We will post more information once the device is officially launched in the next few days.
