Skullcandy, the popular US-based headphones and speaker brand, has announced two new portable Bluetooth speakers for the Indian market. The Skullcandy Barricade and Barricade XL are priced at ₹5,999 and ₹11,999, respectively. Both these Bluetooth speakers will be available for purchase through all the major online and offline stores in India.
The Skullcandy Barricade Mini, which is priced at ₹3,499, promises up to 6 hours of battery life. It is also water- and impact-resistant The Skullycandy Barricade is priced at ₹5,999, and the company claims that it can last up to eight hours. It also supports charging of external devices, and it also features an inbuilt microphone. The Barricade also has auxiliary in and out functionality for multi-speaker connectivity.
The Skullcandy Barricade XL, which is priced at ₹11,999, features up to 10 hours of battery life. It has all the features of the Barricade including multi-speaker connectivity. Amlan Bhattacharjya, Founder and CEO of Brandeyes Distributors Pvt Ltd, said, “We’re bringing a fresh perspective to a market where consumers are asked to choose between aesthetics and performance. But with Barricade, they don’t have to.”
